Welcome to the home page of The Buddhist Centre Online’s Translation Project. We’re aiming to translate the main texts and ceremonies used in the Triratna Buddhist Community into as many of the world’s languages as possible. That’s an ambitious project, but we’re a worldwide community and between us we are in touch with all the people we need to make it happen!

We’ll be working in language-based groups - see below for the ones we’ve created so far, and please do join any you are interested in. Especially, please pass news of this project to any friends skilled in the more unusual languages… Klingon, anyone?! We’re aiming to translate the same groups of texts into all languages - The Dedication Ceremony, the Refuges and Precepts, the Threefold Puja, then introductions to the Mindfulness of Breathing and Metta Bhavana meditations, also basic Buddhism and an introduction to the Triratna Buddhist Community and how it works.
