The Triratna Buddhist Community is an international Buddhist movement founded in London in 1967, which now has activities in more than 20 countries, including India. At its heart is the Triratna Buddhist Order, known in India as the Triratna Bauddha Mahasangha.
'Triratna' means 'Three Jewels', traditionally the Buddha, Dharma, and Sangha, which together represent the central focus of a Buddhist's life and practice. We accept the Buddhist tradition as a whole as our primary source of guidance, inspiration and instruction. In harmony with other Buddhists, Triratna practitioners aim to practise and make available the Buddha’s teaching in ways that are relevant and accessible today.
In the Groups section you’ll find a growing set of community spaces, including Triratna Jobs, a one-stop-shop for Right Livelihood and volunteering opportunities around Triratna; and a group for celebrating Triratna Festivals (your photos, please!).
